September is finally breaking into cooler breezes and that means fall veg is just around the corner. So far, we have mustard greens, broccoli raabs, bunching onions, dill, fennel, kale, collards, sorrel, and more all planted out getting ready for fall harvest! In the meantime, we're still rocking the summer greens and fruit vegetables for CSA...
The only new comer this week is our Lemon Basil. As with all others, be sure to keep her out of the fridge (the colder air browns the tender leaves). I just keep my basil in a glass of water on my kitchen counter, refreshing the water every 2-3 days as needed. Here are some great ideas for using Lemon Basil in your meal planning this week.
